The River pgs 1-29

Two years ago Brian Robeson was stranded alone in the wilderness for fifty-four days with nothing but the clothes on his back and a little hatchet. He survived and now the government wants him to do it again, but only this time hes by a river. Brian thinks there nuts for him to go out and do this again. They want him to do it so that astronauts can see what he did to survive and learn the techniques that he has used. But he wont be alone they say, the psychologist Derek Holtzer will be by his side the whole time on this journey. Brian still thinks there freakin crazy. Theres no way I would go back out to the wilderness for that long with nothing but a hatchet, your crazy, I dont think you could pay me to do that no way.
